Velda Smalls was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where she trained as a Certified Medical Assistant. She has been married for 26 years to her husband Rev. Dr. Rodney D. Smalls and together they have three sons. Velda is the First Lady of The New Macedonia Baptist Church. At Macedonia, Lady Velda is involved in the Women’s Ministry and Youth’s Kafe for Kids.
She is a volunteer with the Carroll County Public Schools and enjoys reading in her spare time. She currently resides with her family in Carroll County Maryland.
